I'm looking for a cookie recipe my Baba used to make for Christmas.  The ingredients include:  4 cups flour, 4 Tlbs. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 cup lard, 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup warm milk, 5 cent yeast cake, 3 eggs and 1 whole egg.  They are similar looking to the Polish kolache cookie. she would fill then with pineapple filling and walnut filling.  Thank you.

welcome UkieGirl:  I have a few recipe for kolachyky made with yeast but not as cookies. Go to Search and type in Kolachyky, a few recipes will come up with a variety of fillings.  Maybe one of them is what you are looking for. Have a great day. Olga.
