My name is Olga and I am a Canadian immigrant of Ukrainian descent.  I was born in Germany, lived in Melbourne Australia, and then moved to Canada.

The most enjoyable thing I like to do is sharing tasty recipes from all cultures of the world.  My obsession is to go antique shopping with my friend Luba - I love a good bargain! Most of all, I love cookbooks which I am surrounded by them in my computer room. Shopping at thrift shops is a cheap way to find wonderful old books.

Six years ago my son said to me, “you are going to learn how to use the computer”.  I was shocked and said to him, I could never do this.  He persisted and I became hooked. A few weeks ago, my son set up this forum for me.

My favourite Ukrainian recipes are my mother's who lovingly taught me through the years with patients and joy. She always shared her recipes with family, friends and neighbours. Thank you mama-- you are the greatest cook in the whole world!
